As I understand it, Miss Austen once wrote AU fanfiction for the Rime of the Ancient Mariner in which the albatross survived and instead, the Mariner is forced to wear a large clock about his neck. He is then forced to wander the earth, reciting his tale in spoken-word song, telling dire tales of girls who are poison, ladies he loves with large posteriors about which he is unable to prevaricate, and that all he wants to do is put a zoom-zoom-zoom in a boom-boom.
